Indemnification Policy

WASH ME! Car Detailing strives to provide high-quality car detailing services while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our customers’ vehicles. Our indemnification policy outlines the responsibilities of both the company and the customer in the event of damage to vehicles during the detailing process, in accordance with Australian law.

  1. Customer Responsibility:
    • Customers are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing damage or issues with their vehicles prior to the commencement of the detailing service.
    • Customers are encouraged to remove any valuable or delicate items from their vehicles before the detailing process begins.
  2. Company Responsibility:
    • WASH ME! Car Detailing takes all necessary precautions to prevent damage to vehicles during the detailing process.
    • Our staff are trained professionals who exercise care and diligence when performing detailing services.
  3. Limitation of Liability:
    • While we take every reasonable precaution to avoid damage to vehicles, it is important to acknowledge that unforeseen accidents or incidents may occur.
    • In the event that damage occurs to a customer’s vehicle during the detailing process as a result of our negligence or breach of duty, WASH ME! Car Detailing will take responsibility for the cost of repair or replacement, up to the limit of our liability insurance coverage.
  4. Exclusions:
    • WASH ME! Car Detailing shall not be held liable for any damage to vehicles resulting from:
      • Pre-existing damage or issues not disclosed by the customer.
      • Acts of vandalism, theft, or other criminal activities.
      • Force majeure events, such as natural disasters or extreme weather conditions.
    • Customers are advised to consult their own insurance provider to determine coverage for such events.
  5. Insurance Coverage:
    • WASH ME! Car Detailing maintains comprehensive liability insurance coverage to protect against claims arising from damage to vehicles during the detailing process.
    • Customers may request proof of insurance coverage if desired.
  6. Claims Process:
    • In the event of damage to a customer’s vehicle, the customer must promptly notify WASH ME! Car Detailing and provide details of the damage.
    • We will work with the customer to assess the extent of the damage and facilitate the repair or replacement process as necessary.
    • Customers may be required to provide evidence of the damage, such as photographs or repair estimates, to support their claim.
  7. Waiver and Release:
    • By booking our car detailing services, customers agree to waive any claims against WASH ME! Car Detailing for damage to their vehicles, except in cases of our proven negligence or breach of duty.
  8. Changes to this Policy:
    • We reserve the right to update or modify our indemnification policy as necessary. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website.
